PAX 2024
This was a two-week trip:
- 4 days riding north from San Francisco to Seattle, along US-101 the whole way (more on this below)
- 3 days working remotely from Seattle
- 3 days at the PAX West 2024 expo, meeting up with some old friends, for a weekend of games and merriment
- 6 days riding south back to San Francisco, mostly inland
In total I rode 3,230 miles.

- Day 2: Oregon South Coast
- Crescent City, CA to Rockaway Beach, OR (314 miles)
- Day 3: Abort to Orbit
- Rockaway Beach, OR to Neah Bay, WA (317 miles)
- Day 4: Olympic Peninsula
- Neah Bay, WA to Seattle, WA (275 miles)
- Day 5: North Cascades (to be written)
- Capitol Hill, Seattle, WA to Ellensburg, WA (351 miles)
- Day 6: Wind farms and river canyons (to be written)
- Ellensburg, WA to Bend, OR (350 miles)
- Day 7: Bend Loop (to be written)
- Bend, OR day loop via McKenzie Pass and Sweet Home, OR (285 miles))
- Day 8: Escape the heat to the coast (to be written)
- Bend, OR to Gold Beach, OR (361 miles)
- Day 9: Worth the Diversion (to be written)
- Gold Beach, OR to Fort Bragg, CA (285 miles)
